Eluru

Eluru ఏలూరు is the district headquarters of WestGodavari district (district code-5) and there are 46 mandals in this district.
Also, Eluru is a mandal(Mandal code-23) in West Godavari District (Dt code-5), AP State, India. Under this mandal total no. of villages are 21. The Mandal HQ is Eluru (village code-6).
It is previously called as Helapuri and Ellore.
It has famous temple of Sri venkateswara swami.Every year in January month they celebrate a function namely saptahalu.
